There’s something magical about taking a break from keyboards and code, replacing it with scenic views, laughter, and bonding with colleagues over sunsets and fort walls. That’s exactly what our UpforceTech team did this April on a much-awaited office trip to Kumbhalgarh — and trust me, it was everything we hoped for and more.

Here’s a complete guide to our experience, itinerary, resort review, and the thrilling Jeep Safari adventure to the legendary Kumbhalgarh Fort.

🚌 Day 1 – 25th April: Hitting the Road

The excitement had been building for weeks. Bags were packed, playlists were ready, and cameras were charged. On the night of 25th April, we hopped aboard our AC Tempo Traveller from Ahmedabad and set out on the road to Kumbhalgarh. The journey was comfortable, filled with music, snacks, and endless conversations under the stars.

🌄 Day 2 – 26th April: Arrival in Kumbhalgarh & Resort Fun

⏰ Morning Arrival (~8 AM)

After a night of peaceful travel and short naps, we reached Kumbhalgarh around 8 AM. The cool mountain breeze welcomed us, and the scenic roads of this Aravalli-hugged town made us feel like we had entered another world.

☕ Breakfast Stop

We made a pit stop at a local restaurant for some authentic Rajasthani breakfast – hot poha, tea, and crispy parathas. A perfect start to the day that recharged our spirits.

🏨 Check-in at Kumbhal Exotica Resort

Shortly after breakfast, we headed straight to our home for the next two days — Kumbhal Exotica Resort.

💦 Pool Time & Freshen Up

After checking in and freshening up, most of us couldn't resist diving into the pool. The cold water mixed with the morning sun gave us the perfect dose of vacation vibes. We splashed, laughed, clicked a million selfies, and let the real world fade away.

🍲 Lunch at the Resort

Post-pool and a quick shower, we headed for lunch — and it was a wholesome affair.The spread included:

Paneer sabzi
Fresh salad & pickles
Jeera rice and chapatis

The food was delicious, healthy, and made with love. Big shoutout to the Kumbhal Exotica staff for their hospitality!

🏏 Fun & Games: Cricket, Carrom & Chill

Post lunch, we spent some time relaxing around the resort. Then came the fun zone — cricket in the courtyard and carrom in the common room. All games were provided by the resort itself, adding to the seamless experience.

There was something about seeing your tech team turn into competitive cricketers and board game warriors — unforgettable!

🏰 Evening Adventure: Jeep Safari to Kumbhalgarh Fort

At around 4:30 PM, we got ready for the main attraction of the trip: a Jeep Safari to Kumbhalgarh Fort, arranged by the resort.

The ride itself was an adventure! As we climbed up the winding paths, nature’s grandeur surrounded us. The safari was one of the most thrilling parts of the day.

🛡️ Exploring the Mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort

We reached Kumbhalgarh Fort at around 5:30 PM. This ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-visit in Rajasthan.

We spent nearly 2 hours exploring the fort, climbing its majestic steps, admiring its incredible architecture, and absorbing the rich history etched in every wall. It felt surreal.

🎇 Kumbhalgarh Light & Sound Show

At 7:30 PM, we stayed for the Light and Sound Show held inside the fort.

Duration: 45 minutes
Narrates the story of Mewar and Rana Kumbha with dazzling lights and audio

This was the cherry on top! The storytelling, background music, and dramatic lighting made us feel like we had traveled back in time. A must-attend if you're in Kumbhalgarh.

🌃 Back to Resort & Dinner Time

After the show, we returned to the resort by 9:30 PM, tired but filled with joy and memories.Dinner was ready and waiting for us — another delicious spread under the stars.

The night ended with laughter, games, and a few of us stargazing into the silent Kumbhalgarh skies.

🛏️ Day 3 – 27th April: Goodbye with Full Hearts

The next morning, we woke up refreshed and enjoyed a relaxed breakfast before packing our bags.A few group photos, some heartfelt moments, and then — it was time to head back to Ahmedabad.

The return journey was quieter, with everyone scrolling through photos, sharing Reels, and planning the next trip already.
